Common questions about wall-mounted desks
Our wall-mounted desks can be fitted to plasterboard walls using the correct cavity fixings. For stud walls, we recommend fixing into the studs for maximum strength. If you're unsure about your wall type, contact our team before ordering and we'll advise on the best approach for your specific setup.
Our desks are available as a frame only (bring your own desktop) or as a complete desk with a desktop in your chosen size and finish. Frame-only models are popular with customers who already have a surface they love, or who want a bespoke desktop. All configurations are listed clearly on each product page. Note: wall fixings (plugs and screws) are not included and should be chosen to suit your wall type.
In-stock models are typically delivered within 3–5 working days to mainland UK addresses. Made-to-order configurations (including bespoke desktop sizes and finishes) are delivered within 6–8 weeks. Delivery is free on all orders. You'll receive tracking information once your order ships.
Most customers install their wall-mounted desk in around 45 minutes using basic DIY tools: a drill, spirit level, and spanner. Every desk comes with a full installation guide and all required frame fixings. Wall plugs and screws for your wall type are not included. If you'd prefer a professional installation, we can arrange that for an additional fee. Contact us for a quote.
Our ConSet 501-9 and 501-19 models support up to 80kg of load capacity, more than sufficient for dual monitors, a laptop, and accessories. The LINAK Smart Control frame supports up to 120kg. Load capacity information is listed on each product page.
Many of our customers install their desk in a rented home. The bracket system leaves only a small number of wall fixings, which can be filled and repainted when you move. The desk itself is fully removable and can be taken with you. We'd recommend checking your tenancy agreement, though in practice the installation footprint is comparable to mounting a TV bracket.
