Imagine reclaiming your room the moment you finish work. The desk folds flat against the wall, opening up the floor and making the workspace disappear. When you're ready, a single press returns it to your precise ergonomic height. A true zero-footprint setup with absolutely no compromise on stability or posture.
Why is this different from other wall-mounted desks?
The majority of wall-mounted desks are fixed height, forcing you to work in a single position. The LINAK WALL Solo is a different class of product: fully motorised with hospital-grade actuation and Smart Control memory as standard. It adjusts exactly to your working height, delivering a true zero-footprint workspace designed specifically for smaller rooms.

Why the LINAK WALL Solo
Premium LINAK engineering in a compact frame
The Solo delivers the same hospital-grade motor and Smart Control as the full LINAK WALL — in a single-column frame designed for smaller spaces. Everything you need, nothing you don't.
Same LINAK DPG motor — no compromise
The Solo uses the identical hospital-grade LINAK DPG actuator as the full LINAK WALL. Whisper-quiet at 38dB, rated for continuous commercial use. The compact form factor doesn't mean a smaller motor.
Smart Control included as standard
Save your ideal sitting and standing heights on the built-in display. One tap moves the desk to your preset position. Built-in anti-collision stops and reverses automatically if the desk meets resistance. Optional height limits let you restrict travel to a set range, useful if cables or shelving create a hard boundary. Move reminder prompts you to switch throughout the day.
Zero floor footprint — built for compact spaces
The Solo is purpose-built for tighter spaces: box rooms, alcoves, studios, and small home offices. Mounted to the wall, it reclaims every inch of floor below. Nothing on the ground.
65–130cm: full sitting-to-standing range
The same 65cm of travel as the full LINAK WALL. Most wall desks top out at 38–50mm/s. At 80mm/s, this is the fastest motor in its class. A complete height change in about 10 seconds. Comfortable for users from 150cm to 200cm+.
Bring your own desktop — or add ours
The Solo frame supports desktops from 80cm to 120cm wide. Order frame-only and use a worktop you already have, or choose from our range of desktops in beech, oak, white, and black.

Ergonomics
The physical toll of a fixed-height desk
When a desk is at a fixed height, your body is forced to adapt to it. That daily compromise is where persistent discomfort begins. Working just an inch too high or too low might not cause pain immediately, but the structural strain quietly compounds over time.
Lower back
A desk at the wrong height tilts the pelvis and flattens the lumbar curve. This position loads the intervertebral discs well beyond their resting state. The discomfort begins as end-of-day stiffness, but correctly aligning your setup provides immediate relief before it becomes a persistent problem.
Neck and shoulders
A desk that is too low pushes the head forward and rounds the shoulders. For every inch the head moves in front of the shoulders, the effective load on the cervical spine roughly doubles. Working eight hours a day, the tension accumulates faster than most expect.
Wrists and hands
Keyboard height determines wrist angle. Working with the wrists extended or bent downward for extended periods increases the risk of repetitive strain. It is one of the most overlooked factors in desk setup, and one of the most straightforward to correct with the right frame.
None of these conditions announce themselves. They start as tightness, progress to discomfort, and can eventually become chronic. The earlier you remove the source, the better the outcome. Imagine ending your work week with more energy and without the usual stiffness. A desk that adjusts precisely to your ideal height removes the ergonomic guesswork entirely.
We cover the ergonomics of desk height and setup in more detail on the Ergoasis blog.

Product Details
Premium LINAK engineering in a compact frame
The LINAK WALL Solo is the full LINAK WALL in a single-column format. Same hospital-grade LINAK DPG motor. Same Smart Control with height memory presets. Built for spaces where a two-column desk doesn't fit — without any compromise on what matters.
Key specs:
- Motor: LINAK DPG actuator — same as the full LINAK WALL
- Smart Control: Saved height presets, one-tap recall, move reminder
- Load capacity: 60kg
- Height range: 62–127cm
- Desktop width: 80–120cm
- Motor speed: 80mm/s — full height change in ~8 seconds
- Noise: Under 38dB
- Made in: Netherlands
- Warranty: 10 years — frame, motor, and electrical components
Same motor. Smaller frame.
The LINAK DPG actuator inside the Solo is identical to the one in the full two-column LINAK WALL. Smooth, whisper-quiet, rated for continuous commercial use. The compact frame doesn't mean a smaller motor — it means the same quality focused into a tighter footprint.
Smart Control included as standard
Save your exact sitting and standing heights. One tap recalls either. A built-in move reminder prompts you to switch positions throughout the day. The Solo includes the full Smart Control handset — not a simplified version.
Built for compact spaces
Box rooms, studios, alcoves, small home offices. The single-column frame starts at 80cm and works in spaces where two-column desks simply don't fit. Everything on the wall — the floor beneath is completely clear.
